Driving directions from San Francisco International Airport: Exit the airport and take US-101 N toward San Francisco. Take the exit for I-280 N / Port of SF, and then follow the signs for Port of SF. Take the 4th St exit, and then turn left onto Bryant St and proceed one block. Turn left onto 3rd St and proceed five blocks to Market St. 3rd St crosses Market St and becomes Kearney St. Continue on Kearney St for two blocks. Turn left onto Sutter St, and hotel is three blocks on right.

Oakland International Airport (OAK): Approximate driving time is 25 minutes and distance is 20 miles.

Driving directions from Oakland International Airport: Exit the airport on Hegenberger Rd. Take I-880 N toward Oakland. Take I-80 W / San Francisco / Bay Bridge, crossing over the Bay Bridge. Take the Fremont St exit, and then continue on Fremont St for three blocks. Fremont St crosses Market St and becomes Front St. Continue on Front St for one-half block, and then turn left onto Pine St and proceed seven blocks. Turn left onto Powell St and proceed two blocks. Turn right onto Sutter St, and hotel is immediately on right.

Getting there: From SFO, taxis (more than $36), airport shuttles ($5–$15), and BART trains (under $5) are the most popular ways of getting to the hotel. Fees subject to change without notice. Airport shuttles are found on the Arrivals level of the airport, above baggage claim; no reservations are required. BART runs directly from the airport to the Powell St Station, five blocks from the hotel. A BART shuttle departs every 10 minutes for the Coliseum Station, where guests can catch a train to the Powell St Station. Car rentals are available online.

Getting around: Walking is a popular way of getting around at any hour. San Francisco’s MUNI system offers routes throughout the city and includes electric streetcars, cable cars, trolleys, buses, and light rail. The hotel is on a historic cable car line that connects to Fisherman's Wharf. All-day and three-day MUNI passes both cost between $5–$15 and are valid for unlimited travel and transfers.
