Driving directions from Lihue Airport: Exit the airport from Ahukini Rd. Turn left onto SR 51 (Kapule Hwy) south and go about 1 mile. Turn right on Rice St and continue on SR 50 (Kaumualii Hwy). Bear left onto SR 520 and continue for about 4.5 miles. Bear left onto Poipu Rd.
Getting there: The best option from the airport is a rental car, especially since many guests will want a car anyway for sightseeing. Taxis are also available ($26–35; fees subject to change without notice).
Getting around: Taxis are available for short trips around the area. Guests who intend to do a lot of sightseeing should probably plan to rent a car.
