Less than a 10-minute drive from Maui's main airport, this immaculate, quiet hotel is ideally located for travelers wishing to explore Maui's wonders. All of downtown Kahului, including its three shopping/dining malls, is within walking distance.
Built when space was less expensive, guestrooms offer lots of room. They're simply but appropriately furnished with island-style furniture and decorated with Hawaiian flavor, including local art and photographs on the walls. Air conditioning and ceiling fans provide a choice of cooling options.
A good-size pool, sundeck, and lawn for setting out lounge chairs share the hotel's courtyard with a leafy garden. Kahului Bay laps at the hotel property's edge. The breezy lobby is a fine place to relax in wicker chairs and converse.

Driving directions from Kahului Airport: Exit the airport on Keolani Pl and proceed one mile. At the first traffic light, bear right onto the Haleakala Hwy / Hwy 37, and proceed one-quarter mile. Bear right onto the Hana Hwy / Hwy 36, and proceed one-half mile. Turn left onto E Kaahumanu Ave / Hwy 32, and proceed one-half mile to hotel on right.
