Driving directions from Kahului Airport: Exit the airport on Keolani Pl. Stay in the middle lane and continue onto Dairy Rd/Hwy 380, which becomes Kuihelani Rd/Hwy 380 at the intersection with Puunene Ave. Continue straight on Kuihelani Rd/Hwy 380 until the next traffic signal. Turn left onto Honoapiilani Hwy/Hwy 30 and continue north past Lahaina. Turn left onto Kekaa Dr, continue one-half block, and turn right at the stop sign. The Outrigger Maui Eldorado is straight ahead. Turn right there and proceed to the Royal Lahaina Resort.
Getting there: Rental cars (available online) are the most popular option, especially since most visitors use one during their visit. Shuttles and taxis are also available, and both cost more than $36. Fee subject to change without notice. Advance reservations are required for shuttle service.
Getting around: Most guests use rental cars (available online) to get around on Maui. Guests also take advantage of local shuttle services. For example, a trolley provides complimentary transportation within the Kaanapali area, including service to Whalers Village. Another shuttle service provides transportation to Lahaina for less than $5. Taxis are also available and usually arrive within five minutes of being called; a taxi ride to downtown Lahaina costs $5–15. All fees subject to change without notice.
