The 1896 O'Malley House Bed and Breakfast is located in Mid-City, just 10 minutes to the Downtown French Quarter or Convention Center. It is in a neighborhood that boosts great food, music and culture. Within a 3 block radius, guests can par-take in cuisines that range from Creole, Cajun, Greek, Italian and Mexican. Nearby is Rock and Bowl, which is great for live music, dancing and bowling. Within walking distance is the New Orleans Fairgrounds-Home of the N.O. Jazz and Heritage Festival, City Park, which houses the N.O. Museum of Art. There are several Mardi Gras parades in Mid-City also. All of our bedrooms are tastefully furnished with some antiques and reproductions, all have queen size beds and private bathrooms. Most have jacuzzi tubs and granite counter tops. All rooms have dataport, telephones, voicemail, color TV with cable, ceiling fans and more. The home was restored in 2000 to meet all of the current safety codes for plumbing, electric or fire. The O'Malley House was awarded the Golden Hammer Award by the Mayor, AAA also awarded the O'Malley House with a 3 star rating.
