Driving directions from Honolulu International Airport: Exit the airport and access H-1 Fwy heading east. Exit the freeway via Nimitz Hwy and follow the signs to Waikiki. Nimitz Hwy becomes Ala Moana Blvd, which merges with Kalakaua Ave. Proceed right onto Kalakaua Ave, and then stay in the far left lane, which becomes Kuhio Ave. Turn left onto Kanekapolei St and proceed to the hotel on the left.
Getting there: Shuttles are convenient and cost $5–15 per person. They are available just outside baggage claim. Taxis are also located outside baggage claim, and they charge $26–35 for the trip. Rental cars are another option, and they are available online. All fees subject to change without notice.
Getting around: In addition to walking to the many stores and restaurants nearby, guests often take advantage of the city bus. It provides excellent service, and a stop is located less than one block from the hotel. A single fare costs less than $5, while a four-day visitor pass can be purchased at designated locations for $16–25. Fees subject to change without notice. Taxi service is also excellent, with cabs usually available within five minutes of being called. Rental cars (available online) are handy for longer island excursions, such as trips around the island's perimeter, or travel to the North Shore.
