The Ritz-Carlton, Georgetown

Hot new hotel in historic district

  • Stately old homes and trendy boutiques are steps away from the new red-brick Ritz-Carlton in prestigious Georgetown.
  • Opened in 2003, the remarkably restored hotel was once a 1930s incinerator, and a dramatic 130-foot smokestack forms the focal point.
  • In keeping with the hotel's unusual past, the theme is heat and fire: sizzling flame colors, fire-related art—even Fire Red Martinis.
  • Guests can cool off in the soothing comfort of the intimate spa, featuring Carita Paris beauty treatments.
